Just a quick post on the best (and worst) shot blockers in the NBA. Instead of using Blocks-Per-Game or Block-Rate (Blocks per 100 possessions) for reference, I used BLK-DRB% and BLK-OWN-DRB%.
BLK-DRB% is the percentage of a player's blocks that are rebounded by the defense, while BLK-OWN-DRB% is the percentage of blocks the shot-blocker rebounds himself.
Data was compiled using NBAWOWY, and qualified players had to finish within the top 100 for total blocks.
